I have been working in this downtown Toronto neighbourhood since 2013. Our clinic aims to complement the shared passion for active living and vitality that exists within the community. Our goal is to be able to offer a team of dedicated health professionals who can bring balance to your body and help you feel better today and in the days to come.
During my youth, I actively participated in rugby and weight training, which unfortunately resulted in various injuries. It was through these experiences that I discovered the immense value of chiropractic care. Not only did my chiropractor provide me with a deep understanding of my injuries, but they also offered the necessary treatment and rehabilitation to get me back on the field. These experiences inspired me to become a chiropractor and excel in the undergraduate chiropractic program. In 2006, I furthered my education by completing the post-graduate program in the Chiropractic Clinical Sciences at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, earning the title of Fellow of the College of Chiropractic Sciences in 2011. I have also been a personal trainer since 2005.
From 2019-2023, I had been an Advanced Practice Provider for the Low Back Rapid Access Clinics for patients with long-standing low back pain who were referred by their medical doctors for a comprehensive assessment and treatment plan including education and evidence-based self-management plans. The program was designed to decrease the prevalence of unmanageable chronic low back pain, reduce unnecessary diagnostic imaging and unnecessary specialist referral.
Today, I combine my expertise as a clinical chiropractic specialist and background as a personal trainer to provide a patient-centred approach. I work closely with patients, educating them on how to correct their stationary postures and movement patterns to maximize healing in the short term and prevent future recurrences of pain. Recognizing that each individual has a unique health, social, environmental, and functional history, I develop customized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs. My approach includes a functional rehabilitation-based approach with hands-on chiropractic adjustments, various forms of soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, custom foot orthotics, postural correction, and lifestyle education. My ultimate aim is to help patients return to their full potential for work, play, and activities of daily living, ultimately bringing balance back into their lives.
In addition to my professional pursuits, I also lead an active and healthy lifestyle. I enjoy weight training, running, and cycling, both on roads and on trails.

In practice, Dr. Wang believes optimum health can only be obtained through a team approach where the patient is the team leader. As part of the team Balanced Body, Dr. Wang utilizes Acupuncture, Functional Range Release, spinal manipulation, ergonomic evaluation and activities of daily living modification as part of a holistic team based treatment plan, customized for each patient.
Dr. Wang is passionate about everyday ergonomics. He believes that many body pains and problems are because of poor habits and positions that slowly and consistently strain our bodies throughout the day and during sleep. Small changes to the big things (work, sitting, sleeping) can stop the cycle of consistently hurting ourselves everyday.
Dr. Wang enjoys playing beach volleyball and wakeboarding when he gets to have “Wang time”.

30+ years of being a Registered Massage Therapist and counting upwards………Not sure what that means-looking ahead, but I will know when I come upon it.
Flashback: 1990 was a year of change in attitude and focus for me. I was into my first year of participating in Olympic distance triathlons. Following each event there was always a group of massage students ready to give post-race massages of 10 or 15 minutes. I scoffed at the idea, and went home holding onto my beliefs and also my physical exhaustion and discomfort.
During that triathlon season, I attended an outdoor play and borrowed $2.00 from a friend to purchase a draw ticket to win One of Twelve prizes at season end. I tacked the list of prizes next to the phone on the wall (yes it was 1990) and never paid much attention to it until the ‘day of the draw’. I perused the prizes and decided 8 of them were worth winning, 3 were less than desirable and 1 was a definite “NO WAY!” Of course I won the “NO WAY Day at the Spa.”
Fast forward to 1991: I have changed cities and am working outside my area of expertise and training. My University friends encourage me to see their preferred RMT, to get past a work related injury. I went, I took part in my healing, and felt great afterwards.
A paradigm shift occurred and I went into the 1991 tri season with the intent on accessing as many post event massages possible. My recovery time was significantly lessened and the few aches and discomforts were eliminated. If I could make one person feel as good as I felt after a race…..this was the career choice for me.
I have been incredibly influenced by select professionals who have taught me Myofascial Release, Movement, Aquatic Massage and most recently Manual Lymph Drainage. Learning in the classroom room is imperative, however, what I learn from each individual I massage is even more important- as the treatment must be customized to YOU!
So here I am, 30 plus years after my SHY AWAY NO WAY Day at the Spa (which I gave to friend’s mother) continuing to find focus and purpose in providing hands-on work.
I look forward to working with you!
